What is face value?
Face value is how much a stamp is worth in terms of using it for mailing services. For example, the 2024 face value for a Forever Stamp is 73 cents per stamp.
Older postage stamps will typically have a denomination (number) of face value on the stamp design. The stamp below has a face value of 29 cents.
