Can you return stamps to the Post Office for a cash refund?
Unfortunately you can’t return stamps to the Post Office for a cash refund. Even if they are in completely brand new condition. However, there is a solution for you to get cash back for your stamps. Continue reading below to find out how.


Acceptable returns
There are circumstances where the Post Office will allow you to return your stamps. However they will only exchange them for other stamps, not a cash refund.
According to the USPS website, postage stamps can be exchanged if they arrive damaged or flawed. Or if you received the wrong denomination, kind, or size of stamps or the wrong envelope, you can exchange them at full postage value.
Stamps can be exchanged if they are: Intact, full panes of stamps, Coils of stamps in the original sealed wrappers, Full boxes of stamped envelopes, Or original sealed packs of stamped cards.
